Tell us about yourself | Currently, I am working as an Educational Research Instructor at New Generation Pedagogical Research Center. I was a researcher at the Open Institute which is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that brings technology to the education system in order to ensure that it benefits for social and economic advance in Cambodian society. I worked as a research assistant for a year and was promoted to be a research associate and then a researcher. Almost 4 years of experiences, I have worked with more than 10 projects, which are mostly related to the education sector. In these projects, I am worked as a researcher, data analyst, trainer, supporter, classroom observer, school monitor, supervisor, as well as quality controller. I have provided a lot of training to key partners such as MoEYS officers, DTMTs, school directors, NGO partners, MoSVY officers as well. Academically, I graduated double bachelor’s degree (Social Work & Computer Science and Engineering) from RUPP in 2015. In late of 2016, I am started a master’s degree of education at RUPP in order to broaden my knowledge in education field. Luckily, I was competitively selected as an exchange student by PEACE Exchange Students Program at Hiroshima University, Japan for 5 months. By attending the master program and exchange program, I have learned a lot in term of educational research and development, educational leadership, educational policy, philosophy of education, curriculum development and practice, critical pedagogy, etc. From theses knowledge and my research experience, I hope I can bring new way of teaching and learning in 21st century to the teacher’s trainee. |
